STAMA receives TOP 100 decoration

The STAMA Maschinenfabrik GmbH belongs to the ``Top 100``, the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany.~The company disposes of excel#lent inventive genius, commend#able innovation processes and is building successfully a bridge from the idea to the market success.~~Ranga Yogeshwar handed over the seal of approval ``Top 100`` on the 22nd June 2012 in Friedrichshafen.~~STAMA receives the decoration this year for the second time after the year 2008.

TWIN 600 – distance increases speed

Wheel carriers, castings, oil sumps, handlebar tubes and other large workpieces can be machined at double productivity on a STAMA TWIN with 600 mm spindle distance. It is also just as flexible as it is fast for multiple fixtures of smaller workpieces – more economical manufacturing solutions open up for you for many a workpiece.

TWIN to the power of two – 4-spindle technology

Not all workpieces are ideal for TWIN2-spindle machining – cycle and machining time as well as the batch size of workpieces are important criteria in selecting a TWIN2 Center. ~~TWIN2 Technology is ideal for workpieces with long individual operations. Complex hydraulic and fluid workpieces are a good example of this.~~Basically: there is a productivity boost when machining 4 work pieces with 4 spindles in one work cycle.

STAMA RetroFIT – inclusive process

5-axis machining with TWIN

This application shows the double spindle 5-axis machining of gear shift covers. By (complete) machining with the 2 plus 4 concept (two spindles and four clamped workparts), you have a cost per part advantage of 30%.~Click once and the film is playing.

Machining Centers with 180° swivel table

With the 180° Swivel Table Center you have two work spaces on a small floor space. It can load and unload parallel to main time which makes the process highly productive. The best-selling STAMA Center is ideally designed for automation solutions and there are 1-, 2- and 4-Spindle Centers in four performance categories.

Machining Centers with X range up to 1000 mm

Full power and flexibility in a small space – the System 5 Vertical Centers with work space stand for flexible and dynamic manufacturing. Suitable for long cycle times and ideally designed for integrated and external automation solutions and handling systems.

5–axes Milling Center for bar machining

The logical step beyond the possibilities offered by a classical Vertical Center: 5-axes machining from the bar for all 6 sides of your workpiece. You manufacture workpieces in any design up to Ø 100 mm and lengths up to 400 mm more precisely, faster and at reduced costs per part in a maximum of 2 chucking operations.

Milling-Turning Centers for semi-finished parts and blanks

Milling-Turning Centers for machining from the chuck or device are the perfect manufacturing solutions for complete machining of large and heavy workpieces. Up to 50 kg weight, 600 mm Ø and 250 mm lengths. The 8 Centers with two work spaces for loading and unloading parallel to main time are also ideal for highly productive complete machining.

The new 33-series – higher output per floor space

Well over 40% less floor space required, integrated automation and 4th/5th axis with torque technology for a higher output on a minimum of space. Increased flexibility for a wide range of needs, more dynamics for optimized milling force. The new 33-series is available as a vertical machining center or as a milling-turning center.

TWIN Technology – more productive with two spindles

The STAMA TWIN Centers come in 5 performance categories, with 4 spindle distances and one or two work spaces. Even Milling-Turning Centers exist as TWIN.~~Did you know by the way that by machining four work pieces in one work cycle on two spindles productivity is doubled and your costs per part are reduced by 30%? ~~STAMA TWIN – the flexible and economical manufacturing solution with innate double productivity. Machining Centers with X range 2200/3400 mm

High flexibility – System 5 Vertical Centers with two work spaces offer various possibilities for productive and universal manufacturing for a range of parts with small and large workpieces. In the 1- and 2-Spindle models you can also use the whole travel range in one work space.

Milling-Turning Centers for bars and chucks

Batch size 1 – Setup time 0. Our customers have been realizing this principle every day anew with STAMA Milling-Turning Centers since early 2000. The result: highly flexible and economical complete 6-sides machining. 70% gained time and a 50% reduction in costs per part thanks to complete milling and turning.

MT Technology – ideal for 6 sides

Milling, drilling and turning, any way you want – that is STAMA MT Technology. Ingenious concept, convincing in practice. For 10 years.~~5-axes and 6-sides complete machining from the bar or chuck with STAMA MT produces 70% gained time and 50% reduction in costs per part for your manufacturing.~~There is a variety of workpieces which are totally suitable for complete machining on Milling-Turning Centers. The revolutionary 2nd generation of MT-2C Centers represents a ground-breaking development in the discipline of complete machining utilizing the technologies of milling and turning: It requires 30% less floor space while it delivers greater precision, performance and dynamics. The new MT-2C utilizes energy and space more efficiently with every batch size and yields higher production outputs per floor space.

STAMA ECO tools help save energy and costs

A good example of the efficient use of resources is the energy saving lamp – but machine tools also offer great saving potential.~~E.g. with TWIN manufacturing power consumption is approximately 40% less per finished workpiece than with Single-spindle production. ~~STAMA Energy Saver in turn sequentially sets your center to stand-by mode and saves a good 80% in energy.
